Azure Tenent Missing all Authentication methods under password self reset

Cannot deploy Password self reset due to the fact that all authentication methods are missing with Password Self Reset config

Hello Ushadmin

Password Self-Service Reset (SSPR) cannot be enabled because no authentication methods are available for users.

To confirm user identity in Microsoft Entra ID, SSPR needs at least one registered and enabled authentication methods (such as phone, email, or an authenticator app). For the impacted users, all authentication methods are currently either disabled or not registered.

Please check the users Authentication methods, If no authentication method is enabled then the issue occurs.

Hello Ushadmin Please click on auth methods policy to configure other authentication methods

The SSPR portal only shows methods that are enabled via the Entra ID Authentication Methods policy. Click on ‘auth methods policy’ to enable and assign methods like SMS, Authenticator, Email OTP, or OATH tokens to your users. Once enabled and users register them, these methods will appear for SSPR.
