Community forums and this channel cannot access billing accounts or issue refunds.

To request a refund or correction of the overcharge:

    1. Check the subscription and charge
      1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the Microsoft account that was billed.
      2. Find the Microsoft 365 (often called Microsoft 365, not “360”) subscription and confirm the current plan and price.
    2. Cancel or adjust the subscription if needed
      1. Select Manage next to the subscription.
      2. If the plan or price is not what is expected, select Cancel or Upgrade or Cancel (wording may vary) and follow the steps to change or cancel the subscription.
      3. In some countries (Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Israel, Korea, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Turkey) canceling may automatically trigger a prorated refund if eligible. Details are under Countries with prorated refunds for Microsoft subscriptions in the linked article.
    3. Request a refund / investigate the charge
      1. Go to the Manage your payments page from the billing article and select Investigate for the March 1st charge to see why that amount was billed.
      2. Follow the on-screen troubleshooter to identify if it is a subscription renewal, plan change, or duplicate/extra charge.
    4. If the self-service options do not resolve it
      1. Use the guidance under Need more help? Contact Support in the refund article: go to Contact Microsoft Support, choose the product (Microsoft 365), then a billing-related category, and select Chat with a support agent or a callback.
      2. Provide the exact charge ($108.11 on March 1), the expected amount ($74.97), and request a refund of the difference.

Only Microsoft Support and the automated refund system can review the account history and issue the $33.14 refund.
