Internet connection for Microsoft Store/ Error/ Important

I have tried everything. I have terminated, reset, and rebooted my Microsoft store app, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, went on to trouble shooter and ran a test on it and it is saying it has app crashes, etc. I am unable to fill out anything on feedback because it won't even allow me to log into my account. I know it is not my internet that is the issue because my web browser and other apps requiring internet are working just fine. I even ran a test on my internet connection and it is running with more than enough with no issue. I have also checked for any and all updates for all my apps and my computer itself and even ran all the codes I could find to try and resolve the issue, but there is nothing else I am able to do to resolve this issue, so I am reaching out to hopefully have this resolved. I use my computer for work and I need to make sure all my apps and other devises are working proficiently without issue or it makes it hard for me to preform my daily work as needed.

Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help! This error occurs when there is a miscalibration with the network configuration. To sort out the issue, kindly follow the steps below: These sets of commands will reset the internet connection and recalibrate the internet settings you have. Press Windows Key + X. Click on the Terminal (Admin) or Windows PowerShell (Admin) Type the following commands, and hit Enter after each command:

`netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled
    netsh winsock reset
    netsh int ip reset
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
    ipconfig /flushdns

    `

If the same issue follows the methods below: Do a clean boot: A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.

    • In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the results.
    • On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all.
    • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.
    • Under Startup in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then select Disable.
    • Close Task Manager.
    • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart the computer, it's in a clean boot environment. Troubleshooting reference: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows-da2f9573-6eec-00ad-2f8a-a97a1807f3dd geometry dash

I got the same issue, and your solution helped me to solve it. Thanks for your answer.

Follow these steps in order, testing Microsoft Store after each major step:

    1. Reset the Microsoft Store cache
      1. Press Windows logo key + R.
      2. Type wsreset.exe and select OK.
      3. A blank Command Prompt opens; after ~10 seconds it closes and Microsoft Store should open automatically.
    2. Make sure Windows and Microsoft Store are fully updated
      1. Install the latest Windows updates using Check for updates.
      2. Open Microsoft Store, go to Library, and Get updates to update Store apps.
      3. Verify your time, date, and region settings are correct.
    3. Run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter (Windows 10/11)
      1. Open Settings.
      2. Go to System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters (or Additional troubleshooters on Windows 10).
      3. Find Windows Store Apps and select Run the troubleshooter.
    4. Fix possible TLS/secure connection issues
      1. Press Windows logo key + R.
      2. Type inetcpl.cpl and select OK.
      3. Go to the Advanced tab and scroll to the bottom.
      4. Under Use TLS:
        • Make sure Use TLS 1.0 and Use TLS 1.1 are unchecked.
        • Make sure Use TLS 1.2 and Use TLS 1.3 (or Use TLS 1.3 (experimental)) are checked.
      5. Select OK to save.
    5. Check network/proxy/firewall configuration Even if the browser works, Store sign-in can fail if authentication or filtering is applied differently:
      1. Confirm basic connectivity by browsing to a public site (for example, www.msn.com).
      2. If using a proxy, VPN, or security gateway, ensure it allows outbound HTTPS traffic to Microsoft services and does not require extra authentication for:
        • *.microsoftonline.com
        • *.microsoftonline-p.com
        • *.sharepoint.com
        • *.outlook.com
        • *.lync.com
        • osub.microsoft.com
      3. If on a managed or work network, contact the network/cloud service admin to confirm these endpoints are not blocked or inspected in a way that breaks Store sign-in.

If the issue persists after these steps, capture any specific error code shown by Microsoft Store (for example, 0x80131500) and use that code with the Microsoft support article for targeted fixes, or provide it to support for further diagnosis.
