An entitlement reset for Copilot Pro cannot be done directly from the user side. The available actions are:
- Verify where the Copilot Pro subscription was purchased
- Go to the Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services?ref=officesupport
- Sign in with the same Microsoft account that previously had Copilot Pro.
- Select Manage next to the Copilot Pro (or related) subscription.
- If the subscription was purchased from Microsoft, management options will appear there.
- If it was purchased through a third-party retailer, the Manage button will redirect to that retailer’s site, and entitlement issues must be handled through that retailer.
- If recurring billing was turned off and Copilot Pro expired
- On https://account.microsoft.com, under the Copilot Pro subscription (if still listed), select Turn on recurring billing to resume the subscription if that option is available.
- If the Copilot Pro entitlement is stuck or the purchase/renew button is missing
- This requires support intervention on the account. Use Microsoft billing/support channels so they can review and correct the entitlement on the backend.
- Go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/
- Sign in with the affected Microsoft account.
- Use the “Products and services” or “Microsoft 365 & Office” category and select a billing/subscription topic.
- Choose Chat with an agent or Call me back and explain that the Copilot Pro entitlement is stuck and the purchase/renew option is missing so they can reset/fix the entitlement.
If Copilot features are not appearing in Microsoft 365 apps after the subscription is corrected, confirm that the account with the Copilot license is signed in and refresh the license in the apps as described in the Copilot button troubleshooting article.
