Consent Screen Not showing my app as Verified

Hi, I followed the steps in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity-platform/mark-app-as-publisher-verified#mark-your-app-as-publisher-verified-1 and got my organization verified + added msp id to my branding screen. Despite all of this my consent screen is still not showing the verified/blue check mark. Please help.

This behavior is expected and does not indicate an issue with your publisher verification.

Even after:

Verifying your organization (tenant),

Adding a valid Microsoft Partner Network (MPN / Partner ID),

And confirming Publisher status: Verified under App registrations → Branding,

the blue “Verified” badge is not shown on every consent screen.

Why the verified badge is not appearing :

The Verified publisher (blue check) is displayed only in specific consent scenarios, such as:

The application is multi‑tenant

Consent is requested by external users

The app requests high‑impact or admin‑consent permissions (for example: Mail.Read, Files.Read.All, Directory.Read.All)

If the application requests only low‑impact permissions (such as openid, profile, or User.Read), the consent prompt will not display the verified badge, even though the app is successfully publisher‑verified. This behavior is by design.

Also, please confirm: Are you attempting to perform this in an Azure AD B2C tenant?

How to confirm the app is verified:

You can confirm successful verification by checking:

Microsoft Entra admin center → App registrations → Your application → Branding

Verify that Publisher status shows Verified

If this is visible, then the publisher verification is complete, regardless of whether the blue badge appears on the consent screen.

Thank you for the earlier explanation. We want to clarify our situation:

Under App registrations → Branding, Publisher status shows Verified, so we understand verification itself is complete.

Despite that, we still do not see the blue “Verified publisher” checkmark on the consent screen when users connect the app.

This is not a low-permission scenario. Our application requests high-impact Microsoft Graph permissions, including mail and mailbox access (e.g. Mail.ReadWrite, Mail.Send, MailboxSettings.ReadWrite, plus User.Read and offline_access), not only openid / profile / User.Read.

So the “low-impact permissions only” case does not apply to us. Can you help explain why the checkmark still does not appear in our flow.

We are not using Azure AD B2C for this OAuth / Graph sign-in flow.
