Remove my son from a family group so I can add him to my other family group

I have purchased Microsoft365 family subscription on one of my gmail accounts, let's call it "Neha's new gmail" and would like to move my son to that family account. The current family account was set up by my ex-husband but my old email id, let's call it "Neha's old gmail" is also added as a family organiser. My son's (age 13 yrs) is however tagged to my ex-husband's gmail. How can I disconnect the two and attach my son's gmail to my account instead? The ex-husband is willing to do the steps required. We just don't know how to and what needs to be done. Everytime we go to remove my son from the family, it says "You'll need to remove consent first

Underneath the options menu for your family member, select "Manage consent", then select "Remove consent" for this family member's account. Then, try to remove this member from your family group again."

But I can't seem to find any options Menu or Manage Consent at all.

Please help!

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Ask your husband to sign in with his account on the Family Safety group here-

    https://account.microsoft.com/family/home

Then, select the child's profile and click Manage consent. (as shown in the screenshot here)

    User's image

On the next page, that is on the Manage Permissions page, select 'Remove consent for this child's account'.

    child account (1)

Once the consent has been removed, select the child account and click 'Remove from Family group'.

You can then sign in with your account on the family safety page and send him an invite to join your family group.

If you have any questions, let me know.
