Dear Support Team,

I hope you are well.

I am facing an issue with my laptop camera. The camera is not working properly and it is not turning on in any application like Zoom or Camera app. I have already tried basic troubleshooting such as restarting the laptop and checking camera settings, but the issue is still not resolved.

Kindly guide me on how to fix this issue or arrange technical support as soon as possible.

Version:10.0.26200

Microsoft Window 11pro

16gb ram

Operating System: ( Windows 11pro etc.)

Thank you.

Best Regards,

    Hi Muhammad Haseeb,

Thanks for your post. I understand that you're facing the error “We can’t find your camera” with code 0xA00F4244. Please try the following.

1, Check BIOS / Firmware camera setting

    • Restart the PC
    • Enter BIOS (usually F10 on HP at startup)
    • Look for “Integrated Camera”, “Privacy Camera”, or “I/O Device Security”
    • Ensure the camera is Enabled

Note: Changing BIOS settings affects system behavior, only proceed if you’re comfortable.

2, HP OEM diagnostics (hardware‑level test)

HP provides built‑in diagnostics that work outside Windows, which Microsoft tools cannot replace. This helps confirm whether the webcam is physically detected. For reference: https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/hp-pc-hardware-diagnostics

If the camera fails BIOS or HP diagnostics, please contact HP Support for repair or service.

Let's check some additional information to help resolve the issue:

    1. In the search bar, type MSINFO32 and hit Enter.

Please share a screenshot of that window.

    1. Press Windows + X and choose Device Manager.

Click View > Show Hidden devices

    Expand Camera Section.

Take a screenshot and share it here.
