1, Check BIOS / Firmware camera setting
- Restart the PC
- Enter BIOS (usually F10 on HP at startup)
- Look for “Integrated Camera”, “Privacy Camera”, or “I/O Device Security”
- Ensure the camera is Enabled
Note: Changing BIOS settings affects system behavior, only proceed if you’re comfortable.
2, HP OEM diagnostics (hardware‑level test)
