Hi I need someone from Microsoft to contact me please. I have been trying for weeks to cancel my Microsoft Onedrive account, but my account seems to be linked to a second microsoft account and it doesn't show that I am paying for Microsoft Onedrive (when I am every month). Please can I have some help regarding this, thanks.

    Hi, I'm John!

To help narrow down the issue:

    1. Have you checked https://account.microsoft.com/services on all Microsoft accounts you might have?
    2. Do you possibly have another email (old, work, or family account) linked to the subscription?

In the meantime, if you haven’t already:

Sometimes the subscription is tied to a different Microsoft account, which is why it doesn’t show on the one you’re checking.

    Also try this:

Then sign out and try any other email accounts you may have used before (old email, work/school, family member account)

Important: OneDrive storage is usually part of Microsoft 365. It may not show as “OneDrive” but as a Microsoft 365 subscription.

Let me know what you find and we can continue from there.

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

To cancel the paid OneDrive subscription when the charge does not show on the current Microsoft account, follow these steps and then contact support if needed:

    1. Verify the correct Microsoft account
      • Go to the Subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services
      • Sign out if already signed in, then sign in with any other Microsoft email addresses that might be linked (for example, old Outlook/Hotmail/Live accounts or aliases).
      • For each account, check Services & subscriptions and look for:
        • “OneDrive” or “additional OneDrive storage”
        • Any Microsoft 365 subscription that includes OneDrive storage
    2. Cancel the OneDrive/other Microsoft subscription once found
      • When the correct subscription is visible:
        1. Select Manage next to that subscription.
          • If it shows Turn on recurring billing instead of Manage, it is already set to expire and will not be charged again; nothing more is required.
        2. On the next page, select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, depending on what is shown).
        3. Scroll through and follow the on‑screen instructions to complete cancellation.
    3. If the subscription was bought via a mobile app store
      • If the OneDrive or Microsoft 365 subscription was purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store, it cannot be cancelled on the Microsoft site.
      • In that case, cancel and request any refund through:
        • Google Play: see Learn about Google Play refund policies.
        • Apple: request a refund from Apple support.
    4. If the charge still cannot be located or cancelled
      • Use Microsoft’s account and billing support channel:
        • Visit Account & Billing Help (for help with Microsoft account and subscriptions).
        • Or go to Contact Microsoft Support, describe the issue (OneDrive subscription charge not visible under current account), select Get Help, then choose Contact Support to reach a support agent via chat or callback.
      • Provide details of the monthly charge (amount, last charge date, and the last 4 digits of the card) so support can help locate which Microsoft account is being billed.

If the bank confirms the charge is from Microsoft but the subscription cannot be found or cancelled after working with support, the remaining option is to ask the bank or card issuer to block or dispute the recurring charge.
