Hello Connie Yonan, and thank you for posting to Microsoft Q&A. I understand how frustrating it is to deal with a persistent error for an email you can't even find, and I appreciate you sharing your concern here.
Error 17193 typically means that at some point in the past, an email with a large attachment got stuck in a hidden "sending loop." To stop this and clear the error, please follow these steps to locate and remove the stuck file:
- Go to the very top menu bar of your Mac and click on Outlook.
- Select Work Offline from the drop-down menu.
- In your left-hand folder list (where your Inbox and Sent Items are), scroll to the bottom to find the Outbox folder.
- Right-click the stuck email sitting there and select Delete.
- Go to your Deleted Items or Trash folder and empty it completely to ensure Outlook stops trying to sync that large file.
- Finally, go back to the top menu bar, click Outlook, and click Work Offline again to uncheck it and reconnect to the internet.
I hope this information helps you get rid of that persistent error message. Please let me know if you need further assistance or if these steps worked for you.
