Just to clarify, you are using Gmail/Yahoo account to connect Classic Outlook, right? If yes, recently, there is an issue with the synchronization of Gmail/Yahoo accounts in classic Outlook.
The Outlook team is already looking into this issue. Meanwhile waiting, please try the workaround below.
