Is there a way for us to get a link to a newsletter that we published in Microsoft Dynamics to send out by email?

    Hi @LaurieAnn Taylor,

Good day and thank you for reaching out.

As of now, dynamics does not provide a direct public link to a newsletter email. To get a direct, shareable link for a newsletter you’ve already published and sent in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, you have to follow a specific path. Because Dynamics generates unique, personalized links for every recipient, there isn't a single "public" URL sitting in the settings menu.

However, there is some workaround that you can try:

    1. Find it via Sent email

The most reliable way to get a functional link is to pull it from a live send.

    1. Go to your own inbox and find the copy of the newsletter you received.
    2. Click the "View in Browser" link in that email.
    3. Once the webpage opens, copy the URL from your browser’s address bar.
    4. This link is now a web-hosted version of that specific newsletter.

Note: If your newsletter has personalization (like "Hi ABC"), this specific link will show your name to everyone who clicks it. If you want it to be generic, make sure your "Test Contact" in Dynamics has a generic name (like "Valued Member") before you send the test to yourself.

    1. Creating a permanent "public" link

If you need a link that never expires and doesn't show anyone's personal name, the standard practice in Dynamics is to host the content as a Marketing Page:

    1. Go to Channels > Marketing Pages.
    2. Create a New page and select a layout that matches your newsletter.
    3. Copy/Paste your newsletter content into this designer.
    4. Go Live with the page.
    5. Dynamics will provide a Full Page URL on the "Summary" tab of that record. This is a permanent, public link that you can send out via standard email or post on social media.

In case you require more in-depth guidance or support for these steps, I’d recommend posting your query in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Community. This is a dedicated channel for Dynamics 365 discussions. The reason I suggest posting a new topic there is that in the general Q&A Forum, resources and expertise on Dynamics 365 are limited. In the Find Answers | Microsoft Dynamics 365 Community, you’ll find the most qualified group of respondents, and other partners who regularly read the forums can share their knowledge or learn from your interaction.  User's image

Thank you again for your understanding and cooperation.

Yes. Use the survey/newsletter link feature in Dynamics 365 Customer Voice and then send that link by email.

In Dynamics 365 Customer Voice, each survey (which can function as a newsletter-style form) can generate a short URL that can be pasted into any email or webpage. The link format is:

    https://<region>.dcv.ms/<10-digit code>

    Key points:

    1. Open the survey/newsletter project in Dynamics 365 Customer Voice.
    2. Use the option to create a survey link (generic or custom) for the survey.
    3. Copy the generated short URL.
    4. Paste that URL into the email body (or any other communication channel) so recipients can open and respond to the content.

If using custom links, define survey variables (for example, location) so that responses can be categorized or mapped back to Dynamics 365 records.

Note that these links are non-personalized unless personalized links are explicitly configured; respondent identity and one-response-only tracking depend on the distribution settings.
