For macOS 13 (Ventura), Office 2019 for Mac can still be installed by using an older Office for Mac installer package instead of the current one that requires macOS 14 or later.

Use one of these supported installer packages for Office for Mac on older macOS versions:

1. Download an Office 2019–compatible suite installer

3. Install Office on macOS 13

     4. Choose the install options and click Continue.
     5. Click Install, enter the Mac login password if prompted, then Install Software.
     6. When installation completes, click Close.
4. Activate with the existing Office 2019 license
   • Open Launchpad → Microsoft Word.
   • In the What’s New window, select Get Started and sign in with the same Microsoft account used to redeem/purchase Office 2019 in 2021 so the perpetual license can activate the installation.

If the installer from the account portal insists on macOS 14 or later, bypass that by using the direct Office 2019 for Mac installer links above, which are suitable for older macOS versions such as Ventura (macOS 13).
