Unable to log into Hotmail via mail app

I was recently kicked out of my Hotmail account on my iphone whilst out of the country. Since getting back to the UK I've changed my password multiple times but still can't log in when prompted to re-enter password. I can however, log in via web broswer. Please help as your 'bot' that I get when I call is useless!

    Thank you for posting to Microsoft Q&A. I understand how concerning it is when you are locked out of your mail on your mobile device after traveling, especially when your password works perfectly in a web browser. I appreciate you sharing your concern here.   

    When you traveled, Microsoft’s security system likely flagged the location change and blocked the mobile connection token. To resolve this, you can try removing and re-adding the account to force a fresh, secure connection. Please follow these steps: 

    • Open the Outlook app, tap your profile icon > Gear icon (Settings)
    • Tap your Hotmail account, select Delete Account, and choose Delete from this device
    • Force-close the app (swipe it away), reopen it, and select Add Account to sign back in with your new password. 

    This process clears the old location-based lock and allows the app to sync with your current status in the UK.
