Dear @Terry Boerner,
Thank you for reaching out. I completely understand your preference for using Classic Outlook, and I’d be happy to clarify how you can switch back.
First, could you please check whether you still see the toggle button in the top‑right corner of New Outlook, as described in Microsoft’s official article below?
Toggle out of the new Outlook for Windows – Microsoft Support
If the toggle is available on your side, please follow the steps in that article to switch back to Classic Outlook.
That said, I’d also like to share that in my environment, the toggle is no longer displayed in the top‑right corner. Instead, Microsoft provides the revert option under the menu below:
Help > Go to classic Outlook
This option is functionally equivalent to the toggle and is an officially supported way to return to Classic Outlook. Clicking “Go to classic Outlook” will close New Outlook and reopen Outlook (classic), without requiring any reinstallation or changes to your existing data.
Microsoft may gradually update the New Outlook interface, so the location of the switch may vary depending on the Outlook version and update channel. Also, please kindly take a look in Q&A Assist AI to see if it can help you.
I hope this clarification helps align expectations and provides you some insights in this concern. Wish you a pleasant day!
