How do I reinstall the old Outlook? Many people do not like the "New" Outlook.

First, could you please check whether you still see the toggle button in the top‑right corner of New Outlook, as described in Microsoft’s official article below?

If the toggle is available on your side, please follow the steps in that article to switch back to Classic Outlook.

That said, I’d also like to share that in my environment, the toggle is no longer displayed in the top‑right corner. Instead, Microsoft provides the revert option under the menu below:

Help > Go to classic Outlook

This option is functionally equivalent to the toggle and is an officially supported way to return to Classic Outlook. Clicking “Go to classic Outlook” will close New Outlook and reopen Outlook (classic), without requiring any reinstallation or changes to your existing data.

To reinstall the old (classic) Outlook on Windows when the new Outlook is installed, use the standalone classic Outlook installer provided by Microsoft.

1. Go to the classic Outlook download page: Install or reinstall classic Outlook on a Windows PC.
2. In the Select a language and download classic Outlook section, choose the desired language (for example, English (United Kingdom), French, German, etc.).
3. Select the corresponding Download link for that language to download the classic Outlook installer.
4. Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen steps to complete installation.
5. After installation, open classic Outlook from the Start menu and sign in with the work or school account (or personal account) as needed.

If using a work or school account and classic Outlook still cannot be installed, contact the organization’s IT admin for assistance.

Classic Outlook can also be tried from the Microsoft Store using the tip provided in the same article.
