I purchased 2 Office Home 2024 and activated one yesterday. I tried to activate the second set of keys today on a separate computer laptop. I get this message "This product is already installed on another device".

Help Please. Thanks...

Are you signing in with the same credentials on both Macs? If so that may be the problem.

    Hello !

Where did you buy your Office 2024 license key ?
On your web browser, go to https://account.microsoft.com/services. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Can you see Office 2024 ? How many licenses do you have ? One or two ?

Looking forward to your answer !

Office Home 2024 is a one-time purchase that is licensed for installation on a single computer per product key. The message “This product is already installed on another device” indicates that the specific key being entered on the second MacBook Neo has already been redeemed and associated with another device/Microsoft account.

To use both purchases on two different Macs, each device must use its own unique, unused key and be activated with the Microsoft account that redeemed that key.

Follow these steps on the second MacBook Neo:

    1. Verify which key was used where
      • Check the purchase records and confirm that there are two distinct Office Home 2024 product keys.
      • Make sure the key being entered on the second Mac is not the same one that was already used on the first device.
    2. Install and activate Office correctly on the Mac
      • Ensure Office is installed using the proper installer for the one-time purchase (Office Home 2024).
      • On the Mac, go to Finder > Applications and open Microsoft Word (or another Office app).
      • In the What’s New window, select Get Started.
      • On Sign in to activate Office, select Sign in.
      • Sign in with the Microsoft account that redeemed the second Office Home 2024 key.
      • Office will check for a valid license on that account and activate if the key is unused and correctly associated.
    3. If the second key is reported as already used
      • This means it has already been redeemed and tied to some Microsoft account/device.
      • Sign in to the Microsoft account(s) that might have been used and review which Office products are attached there.
      • If the key was mistakenly used on the wrong device, the one-time license can only be moved by following the Software License Terms: uninstall Office from the original device and, if required, use phone activation to transfer it.
    4. If activation still fails
      • If the second key is definitely unused but still triggers the “already installed on another device” message, contact Microsoft support so they can check the key status and correct any activation/association issue.

Remember: each Office Home & Student/Home & Business/Professional one-time purchase is limited to one computer. Moving it to a different computer requires complying with the transfer terms in the Software License Terms and may require phone activation and uninstalling from the first computer.
