    Hi @Rob Renna

First, I apologize for this inconvenience, I know this must be affecting your workflow a lot.

Recently, there has been an issue affecting the synchronization of Gmail and Yahoo accounts in Classic Outlook.

    Please refer the following document:

Users get errors 0x800CCC0E & 0x800CCC0F synchronizing Gmail and Yahoo accounts in classic Outlook

At the moment, you could try the following workaround steps, which have helped some users in similar situations:

Right click the Windows Start Button, select Run, type Regedit and select OK.

Paste the path below in the Regedit Address Bar and press Enter. Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity\Identities

Under the Identities key, select each sub key until you find the one that matches the email address that is not syncing.

Delete the Identities registry key, example in red below. Look for the corresponding Gmail or Yahoo email address, example in purple. That is the identity key in the left column to delete. After you delete the key, restart Outlook and sign in again.

I hope this information helps for now.

The error shown (0x800CCC0E, “Outlook cannot synchronize subscribed folders… Cannot connect to the server”) matches a known issue with Gmail accounts in classic Outlook.

Use these steps to restore syncing:

    1. Update Outlook to a fixed build
Ensure Outlook is on a build that includes the Gmail fix:
      • Current Channel: Version 2404 (Build 17531.10000) or later for the sign‑in fix.
      • For the separate consent issue, use Current Channel Version 2412 Build 18324.20168 or later.
        After updating Office, restart Outlook.
    2. Retry the Gmail browser sign‑in with full permissions
When Outlook shows the Gmail error dialog, use the Retry link (available on fixed builds).
In the browser window that opens:
      • Sign in to the Gmail account.
      • On the consent screen, under Select what Microsoft apps & services can access, make sure the option “Read, compose, send, and permanently delete all your email from Gmail.” is checked.
      • Complete the sign‑in.
    3. If Retry is not available or does not work, use the manual workaround
The manual workaround removes the old, incomplete Gmail identity and then re‑prompts for browser sign‑in:
      • Follow the “Manual Workaround” steps from the article to clean up the Gmail identity and matching credential in Credential Manager.
      • Open the affected Outlook profile and use Sign in via browser when prompted.
      • Again, ensure the Microsoft apps & services Gmail permission above is checked.
      • If the Gmail account was removed from the profile, use File > Add account to add it back and complete browser sign‑in.
    4. If adding as IMAP and not prompted for password
If the account is configured as a generic IMAP account and Outlook never prompts for a password:
      • On the IMAP details page, make sure Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) is unchecked.
      • If it still fails, add the account from Control Panel > Mail > Email Accounts… > New, enter name, Gmail address, and password, and let setup complete.
    5. Confirm IMAP is enabled in Gmail (if still failing)
The error “We weren’t able to set up your Google account with IMAP. You may need to make changes to your Gmail settings.” can occur if IMAP is disabled in Gmail.
Check Gmail settings as described in Google’s “Add Gmail to another email client” help and ensure IMAP is enabled, then repeat the Outlook sign‑in steps above.

Following these steps on a fixed Outlook build and granting the full Gmail permission during browser sign‑in resolves the 0x800CCC0E sync error for classic Outlook with Gmail.
