Hello -

When using the bookings calendar I can not see the day view and/or I can not have more than 2 people on my screen.

I was able to have this the other day it is not working now.

I tried to remove, redownload. I also made sure my personal calendar was on day view.

Everything keeps overlapping. and despite when i hit "today" doesnt let me do anything.

    Hi @Dakota Haight

Since the information you provide is not quite clear, could you confirm these following:

1/ Where are you viewing Bookings (Outlook desktop, Outlook on the web, Booking web app or New Outlook)

2/ Are multiple calendars selected at the same time on the left side, such as your personal calendar, Bookings and shared calendars?

3/ Does the issue happen to all staff, or only when viewing a specific staff member?

4/ Does the Day view display correctly if you open Bookings in a private/incognito browser window?

5/ Did anything change in your Bookings setup recently, such as adding/removing staff or modifying working hours?

6/ If able, can you provide a screenshot of the issue with personal identity censored?

In the meantime, you can try to switch your calendar out of overlay mode and into side-by-side view by following this article: View multiple calendars at the same time in Outlook - Microsoft Support

While I don’t have access to internal systems or test devices required to resolve backend/account issues, I truly appreciate your understanding of these limitations.

I hope you find this information helpful. If you can share the extra details above, I will be able to investigate further.

In Bookings and Outlook-based calendars, overlapping views and difficulty seeing a clear “Day” view are usually caused by the current calendar view or by multiple calendars being shown together.

Try these steps to restore a usable day view and avoid overlap:

    1. Switch to a simple Day/Work Week view
      • In Outlook (desktop or web) where the Bookings calendar is being viewed, switch the calendar to a basic view:
        • Use Day, Week, or Work Week rather than Month/Schedule when you want to see clear columns per person/day.
        • In Outlook for Windows: choose Day, Work week, or Week in the calendar.
        • In Outlook for Mac: from the View menu, select Day, Work Week, Week, or Month.
    2. Check which calendars are displayed and how they are arranged
      • If multiple calendars (personal + Bookings + shared) are selected at once, they can overlay and appear “on top of each other.”
      • In Outlook for Windows:
        • Under My Calendars and other calendar groups, uncheck calendars that are not needed.
        • If calendars are overlaid, select the arrow on a calendar tab to switch between overlay and side-by-side. Side-by-side makes it easier to see multiple people without overlap.
      • In Outlook on the web: similarly, deselect extra calendars and use side-by-side rather than overlay when comparing availability.
    3. Use side-by-side instead of overlay when viewing multiple people
      • When more than two people are shown in overlay mode, items can appear stacked and hard to read.
      • Select two or more calendars, then use the arrow on a calendar tab to toggle between overlay and side-by-side. Side-by-side will show separate columns for each person.
    4. Reset to “Today” and confirm the current date range
      • Use Today to jump back to the current date.
      • Then confirm that the view is set to Day or Work Week so that the current day is clearly visible and not compressed into a small part of the screen.
    5. If the issue is specific to Bookings staff visibility
      • If certain staff are not appearing correctly in the Bookings calendar, verify that they are still present as staff in the Bookings page and not removed from the organization. If they were removed from Microsoft 365, they must also be removed from each Bookings calendar and re-added as needed.

If the behavior persists only in the Bookings calendar and not in regular Outlook calendars, capture screenshots and contact Microsoft 365 support via the admin center so they can check for a Bookings-specific issue in the tenant.
