Hoping someone will tell me that this is a quick fix. No printer icon on File Explorer task bar. And also missing right click accessibility. Everything I do at work keeps getting bogged down each time I find another bug. Regret updating to Windows 11.

Windows 11 version 25H2

MS please fire the moron who approved the removal of functionality and accessibility. My sympathies to everyone struggling with this build.

Yeah no. Unable to accept that answer. Problem remains. MS has removed functionality and introduced the need to perform multiple tasks (clicking) to complete the simplest of functions. If that function itself hasn't been removed with this iteration of Windows.

Windows 11 no longer shows a dedicated printer icon on the File Explorer taskbar, and printer access is handled through Settings and app-specific print dialogs instead of a global taskbar icon. The context provided focuses on fixing printer connection, driver, and recognition issues, not on restoring or customizing a printer icon on the File Explorer taskbar or right‑click printer access. No supported steps are given to re‑enable that specific UI element.

For printer-related issues on Windows 11 version 25H2 (such as printer not found, delayed printing, driver problems, or spooler errors), use the documented troubleshooting paths:

    1. Check printer connections (USB/Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth) and ensure the printer is powered on and on the same network.
    2. Restart the Print Spooler service via services.msc.
    3. Update or reinstall printer drivers from Device Manager or the printer manufacturer.
    4. Run the Windows printer troubleshooter in the Get Help app using the PrinterConnection link.
    5. If needed, remove and reinstall the printer from Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.

These steps address functional printing problems but do not restore a printer icon on the File Explorer taskbar.
