I got charged for Microsoft 365 and never even signed up for it.

Unexpected Microsoft 365 charges are usually caused by one of these:

1. A Microsoft subscription with recurring billing enabled on the card
2. Someone else (family member, another user) using the card to buy a subscription
3. A previously declined charge that was later processed
4. An in‑app or related purchase that bills as Microsoft

To investigate and stop further charges:

1. Go to the Manage your payments page of the Microsoft account dashboard and select Investigate next to the charge: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2246882. This walks through common causes and shows which subscription or order is tied to the charge.
2. If a Microsoft 365 subscription is found and it was not intended, cancel it:
   • Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365 and sign in with the Microsoft account that owns the subscription.
   • Find the Microsoft 365 subscription, select Manage, then select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, then Cancel).
3. After cancellation, check if the subscription is eligible for a refund by following the steps in How to get a refund on a Microsoft subscription.
4. If the charge truly is unauthorized (fraud), use the Investigate flow above and, if needed, contact Microsoft Support from there or dispute the transaction with the bank/card issuer.

If the charge is on a card but the account cannot be accessed (for example, no sign‑in details), the card issuer can block further payments and help dispute past ones.
