I was charged for Microsoft 365 Personal on 20 January 2026 but I have not been able to 'Activate' Word on my I Mac although I tried lots of times and ways.. Please help me .

Which version of macOS are you running? Note that if you have an older operating system, you may not be able to activate the most recent version of Office. See https://www.brandwares.com/bestpractices/2023/03/most-recent-office-you-can-run-best-practices/ .
Thank you Stefan for your reply, sorry to be so long getting back to you but it does not solve my problem. My Mac OS is Monterey 12.7.6 but this may not be the issue. to expand on my problem, I have been using MS Office for a number of years and there has always been a seamless transfer after my annual subscription has been taken but this year, although Outlook has continued to work, Word has not. Using the "active ' key responses to the various options tells me that there is no License for it or payment in the last 3 months although the money was taken in January. Unless it is an OS issue I must conclude that there has been some disconnect in the MS accounting system. Perhaps it is not the sort of issue that you can solve but I can't find any way to progress it. Regards Charles

Thanks for the follow-up. I am afraid I don't know what would make Outlook work and not Word. Usually, any license issues should affect the whole Office suite.
Hi Stefan, when I stopped panicking to think, I used the link you offered and it solved the problem using the guidance from John Korchok and I now have Word working. As you thought is was an OS issue - mine is Monterey 12.7.6. MS still says that I do not have a license for this account and there is no record of my renewing in February but that is not important now. Thanks for your help. Charles
