Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
There is no direct customer-service email address provided; support is given through the Microsoft account portal and guided support flows.
To stop charges and cancel the old subscription, use these steps:
- Go to Services & subscriptions for the Microsoft account that owns the subscription.
- If Cancel or Turn off recurring billing is available for that subscription, use it to stop future charges. If it shows Turn on recurring billing, the subscription will expire on the date shown and no further action is needed.
- If the cancel/recurring-billing option is missing, follow these checks:
- Confirm the correct account is signed in (the same personal Microsoft account that purchased the subscription).
- If the subscription was bought through a third party (for example, Amazon, Best Buy, Google Play, Apple App Store), cancellation and refunds must be handled with that retailer or store.
- Make sure there is no overdue balance; overdue amounts must be paid before cancellation is allowed.
- If cancellation still cannot be completed or charges continue, use Microsoft’s guided support to reach billing support:
- Start from the Unable to cancel your Microsoft subscription guided support flow and choose the appropriate product and Billing and Payment options.
- Use chat or request a call back from a support agent so they can review the account and correct the recurring billing status.
For refund eligibility after unwanted charges, review the refund guidance for Microsoft subscriptions and, if eligible, submit a refund request through the same support path.
