Microsoft has mandated use of Onedrive for Clipchamp projects
I spent hours creating a celebration of life video to be played at a person's memorial service before this Onedrive mandate took place, the person is still living and all I needed to do is fill in dates to have it ready to go. Now I can't get into the project unless I transfer it to Onedrive and I'm not even sure it will all fit in 5Gb. So, Microsoft is going to force me to purchase Onedrive space or 365? What am I supposed to do when I want to do something with my project where there is no internet service? I absolutely need to be able to take my computer off grid and still be able to open my project and work on it. If I have to hire someone else to redo my video in time for the memorial service, will Microsoft pay for that? Do Microsoft users simply need to start a class action about this, or is Microsoft going to return the control of in-progress intellectual personal property back to the users to be worked on and stored on their personal computers in project form? No one wanted this Clipchamp change except Microsoft who is exploiting their customers and no longer has safe-to-use software. Not even their Tags generate relevantly to this subject, as if they are specifically programmed to deflect this Clipchamp issue.
