Hi Tyler Corder,
Thank you for outlining the steps you’ve already tried.
When a Microsoft Store game shows Install > Download but nothing happens, it usually indicates that the Store’s download services or Xbox components are not completing the install request, even though the system and storage are ready.
In addition to Q&A Assist's answer, here's the list of recommended steps that you should try in this situation:
1, Reset the Microsoft Store cache
- Press Windows + R, type
wsreset.exe - Select OK and wait for Microsoft Store to reopen
2, Install from Microsoft Store > Library
- Open Microsoft Store
- Select Library
- Locate Age of Mythology: Retold
- Select Download from there
3, Repair Xbox App and Gaming Services
- Open Settings > Apps > Installed apps
- Select Xbox App > Advanced options > Repair
- Repeat the same steps for Gaming Services
4, Try installing through the Xbox app
- Open the Xbox App
- Search for Age of Mythology: Retold
- Select Install and choose the install drive
5, Confirm Windows updates are complete
- Open Settings > Windows Update
- Install all available updates
- Restart the PC
