I want to change my name for the scheduled exam for today

I want to change the name for scheduled exam today as it does not match the last name with the official government id thought they rescheduled my exam but the name is not changed . please help

You update your Legal name on your Microsoft Learn profile under Settings https://learn.microsoft.com/users/me/settings

If you have an exam booked, you will be shown a message and link to contact Credentials support https://learn.microsoft.com/credentials/support/help#how-to-submit-a-support-request

The legal name on a Microsoft Certification exam must match the name on the government-issued ID used at the test center or for online proctoring. If the name is incorrect and the exam is scheduled for today, direct support from the certification team is required; it cannot be changed locally by the candidate or the proctor.

Use Microsoft Certification Support immediately to request a correction to the legal name on the certification profile and assistance with the already scheduled exam:

1. Go to Microsoft Certification Support: https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport
2. Open a support request describing:
   • The scheduled exam (exam code, date, and time).
   • The incorrect name currently on the profile.
   • The correct legal name as shown on the government ID.
   • That the mismatch prevented or may prevent taking the exam.
3. Wait for the moderator/support response and follow their instructions. They can advise on name correction and whether the exam needs to be rescheduled again.

If the proctor has already refused the exam because of a name issue, support is also the escalation path for resolving the profile name and next steps for retaking the exam.
