Hi Guys,

We are running into an issue with a Hyper-V VM that keeps locking up. To complete some diagnostics with the application developer that we believe is causing the issue we need a full memory dump from the server. The normal ways of doing a dump are not working.

Is there a way to convert a Saves VM State to a memory dump? There used to be a tool called vm2dmp that would allow us to do this but I can't seam to find it anymore.

If there is a better way of obtaining the full dump.

    Hello @Thomas Park

There is alternate tool available called LiveKD from sysinternals which should help you to capture VM dump.
