Why aren't my emails in Outlook Classic not sending

Microsoft Support supposedly fixed my outlook email problem a couple of hours ago but I now find I cannot send emails, they stay in the outbox

    Hello,

    Please click "Send/Receive" at the top, then click "Show Progress".

    Please provide a screenshot so I can check the sending progress in your email. Thank you.
