You must update or reinstall the fingerprint driver, see if that helps. Please refer these steps:
Open the Device Manager.
Expand Biometrics devices.
Locate the fingerprint driver.
Right click on it and select Update driver.
Alternatively, you can download the latest fingerprint driver from your device manufacturer's website.
