Old Authenticator app listing Microsoft Entra ID for personal account

I just swapped Iphones and all microsoft services transferred over fine except one thing. In my old iphone Authenticator app a Microsoft Entra ID is listed associated with my personal email account and it did not transfer to the new iphone Authenticator app. This is a personal account, I have no azure services… all instructions I can find online regarding this state to log into

entra.microsoft.com

To associate the new authenticator app to your account… but if I try and log in I get

The portal encountered an issue while attempting to retrieve access tokens

And stops me from logging in. I also cannot post a support question to that group because to do so you first have to login.

So… why do I have a Entra ID on my old Auth app for my personally account? Why didn’t it transfer over? Does it matter, as all my other Auth functionality is working correctly?

I just don’t want to wipe my old iphone and find out a month later that I am locked out of some functionality with my Microsoft account because I never got the Entra Id transferred when I swapped phones.

I tried the AI suggestion, but if I try to access the microsoft security info page it rejects my login as it is not a work or school account, and if I go to account.microsoft.com log in and go to security there is no options to see my iphone / authenticator associations and change them.
