A specific functionality or enhancement provided by Windows Copilot
Good day Marcus Wright!
Thank you for reaching out. Based on what you described, you’re unable to find the Copilot icon on your computer, and Copilot doesn’t appear to be working, which raises the question of whether the subscription is still active.
First, please visit https://copilot.microsoft.com/ and sign in with the account associated with your Copilot subscription to check whether it works there.
If Copilot is not working both in the app and on the web, the next step is to verify whether the subscription is still active on the account itself. You can do this by signing in to the Microsoft account used to purchase or assign the Copilot subscription and reviewing the Subscriptions / Services & licenses section. This will indicate whether the license is active, expired, or not currently assigned to the account you’re using.
In case you’re using a work or organization account, please contact your IT administrator to confirm whether the Copilot license is still assigned and available for your account.
If Copilot does work on the web, it suggests the issue may not be related to subscription expiration. In that case, please check whether Copilot is listed among your installed apps on the device. If it’s missing there as well, you can try downloading and installing it again from here.
Please let me know how it goes so we could determine the best next steps if needed!
