title is my cam with buldin mic

Question

ok my problem is when i go on instagram my cam whith a buld in mic the mic dont work then only the cam works so can you please automatically fix this problem beacause i have tried all segestions i have bizy whith this sins this morning and it is now night time and there is a girl i need to videocall.please help me thanks.

Hi,

In the Start menu > Settings > Privacy > Access Microphone and check if permission is enabled in Microsoft Edge.

If so, access the Start menu > Settings > System > Sound > scroll down to the Input tab and check if the selected microphone device is correct and test to see if it recognizes your voice.

In your browser, access the Instagram website > click on the padlock next to the browser > select "Permission on the site" > check if Microphone is enabled.

Now, are you using the microphone from the camera, the internal one (from a laptop), or headphones?
