When I installed Microsoft 365 on my new Windows 11 Pro machine

Screenshot 2026-03-21 161301

I imported contacts exported from my Outlook 365 on my Windows 10 installation.

Contacts were successfully loaded (except for contact notes) and could be seen in People/All contacts for a few days, email was being sent and received correctly.

After deleting some contacts (70 contacts), I continued using Outlook with no issues.

Several days after these actions, when opening Outlook, I found that the only contacts in my "people" tab were the 70 deleted contacts.... no contacts were listed in "all contacts".

I am still seeing all contacts in in both my Android and iPad installs of Office/Outlook 365.

I need help resolving this issue.

Regards, Paul Yocum

    Hello,

Are you signed in with the same email account as your phone and tablet?

Open New Outlook, go to Settings, Accounts, and confirm the correct account is selected. In People, choose All contact lists and clear any filters. Then turn Sync contacts on in Settings, General, Privacy. If still missing, switch to classic Outlook, check contacts, then switch back to refresh the app.
