Hi! Is there a plan to bring back global traffic cameras feed on bing maps.

It doesn’t look like the feature is coming back anytime soon. Microsoft seems to have quietly removed the traffic camera feeds, probably due to licensing changes or losing the rights to show them in the app. There’s no official statement, but this kind of thing usually happens when agreements expire, or they decide to cut costs. Unless they sort out a new deal, it’s unlikely we’ll see it return. If you want access to traffic cameras, you might want to try alternatives like Google Maps, which sometimes still offers live camera views depending on the area.

There is no information in the available documentation about plans to bring back a global traffic camera feed in Bing Maps. The current guidance is that Bing Maps for Enterprise is deprecated and customers should plan to migrate traffic-related scenarios to Azure Maps before June 30, 2028. Azure Maps provides traffic flow and incident data and corresponding web controls, but traffic camera feeds are not documented as a supported feature.

For new development or migration, use Azure Maps traffic capabilities such as the Traffic API and the map.setTraffic options in the Azure Maps Web SDK.
