I think my Snipping Tool is conflicting with the Windows system. Most of the screenshots I take with the Snipping Tool (PrtSc or Win + Shift + S) end up with two copies in the clipboard. When I uninstall the Snipping Tool, this doesn’t happen. But I want to use the Snipping Tool because it has some image editing features right after capturing, as well as some AI features. How can I fix this without uninstalling the Snipping Tool? (I’ve already tried resetting, uninstalling, and reinstalling.)

This issue due to the bug related to the latest update on March 2026 builds.
    KB5079473 (OS Build 26200.8037)

I've a question for you: is your computer currently syncing with a mobile device via Phone Link?

    Try Disable App-Level Auto-Copy:
Open the Snipping Tool > Settings > Under the "Snipping" section, toggle OFF "Automatically copy changes to clipboard.
