Hello,

I have already submitted a refund request for ₹11,001.25 related to Azure SQL Database charges. The portal currently shows "Refund in process", but I have not received any confirmation or update.

I kindly request you to provide the current status and expected timeline for the refund.

Thank you for your assistance.

To check the current status and typical timeline for an Azure-related refund:

    1. Open the Microsoft account Order history page: Open Order history.
    2. Locate the Azure subscription or specific Azure SQL Database charge for which the refund was requested.
    3. The entry will show the refund status (for example, “Refund in process”, “Refunded”, or no refund entry if it was not eligible).
    4. If the status shows that the refund has been issued, allow a few days for the money to be credited back, as processing time depends on the bank/payment provider.

If there is no refund entry for that charge, it generally means the request was outside the refund eligibility period.

For unexpected Azure charges analysis or further clarification, a billing support request can be created from the Azure portal; billing support is free. See the Cost Management + Billing FAQ for guidance on contacting Azure billing support.
