Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Sign in with your Microsoft account on the Order History page here and see if you've been charged for the same order twice:

    https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

If you don't see the duplicate charges in your order history, it is possible you used the same credit on another Microsoft account. Or someone in your family might have used your card.

However, if you see the same order twice in your order history page, you can get in touch with the Microsoft Accounts and billing support to get a refund.

    Go to this page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/home/contact

Type Talk to an agent then click Get Help.

At the bottom of the page click Contact Support. Sign in to your Microsoft account if needed. If you face the same issue with the affected account use a different account to contact Microsoft Support.

Select Other Products then Billing and Account Profile questions then Confirm.

Click Chat with a support agent in your web browser.

To request a refund for being billed twice, use the official Microsoft billing and refund options tied to the Microsoft account that was charged.

    1. Check the charges and subscriptions
      • Sign in to the Microsoft account that was billed and review services and charges at the Order history or Services pages referenced in the support articles.
      • Confirm there are duplicate charges for the same Microsoft 365/Office subscription period.
    2. Request a refund / investigate the duplicate charge
      • For duplicate charges on the same order, Microsoft’s guidance is to contact Microsoft Store or Billing Support directly with the Microsoft account and the order ID:
        • For store orders and duplicate charges: see “What if I have a duplicate charge for the same order?” and contact Microsoft Store Support using the steps in that article.
        • For subscription refunds (Microsoft 365/Office): follow the steps in How to get a refund on a Microsoft subscription and/or Cancel a Microsoft 365 subscription from the Q&A references.
      • When contacting support, provide:
        • Order ID (for example, Z73NN5UOO8KB)
        • Transaction date (for example, Mar 21, 2026)
        • Last 4 digits of the card and the amount charged twice
    3. If the online refund option is not available
      • If there is no direct “Request a return” or refund option for the order, or the subscription page does not show a self-service refund, use the Contact Microsoft Support flow from the referenced Q&A answers and choose a billing/refund category (such as Billing and Payment updates or Manage my subscription) and then use Chat with a support agent in your web browser or request a call.
    4. If the charge might be unauthorized
      • If there is any chance the second charge is not tied to the visible subscription or order, use the Investigate a billing charge article to identify the charge, and if needed, follow the guidance for unauthorized or accidental purchases and account security.

A support agent can then verify the duplicate billing and process a refund if eligible.
