Licenses for M365

I'm a student at Southern New Hampshire University and I'm attempting to use Microsoft 365, but it says I need to activate it. I've followed the tutorial for installation. I have a license key given to me. How to I resolve this to where I can utilize M365?

    Hello

    Who gave you the license key? Did you purchase it, or did you get it from your school? Did the key come with information, specifically for what product, perpetual Office product, or M365 subscription?

    Did the key come in the form of a 5x5 key or digital license assigned to your school email address?
