    Hi ANGELA MARIA FEGED MORA,

Thanks for your post. I understand that you’re not getting any sound from your desk speakers on your PC. Have you already tried the Q&A Assist suggestions? In addition, please try restarting the Windows audio services:

    1. Press Windows key + R, type “services.msc”, and press Enter.
    2. Locate “Windows Audio”.
    3. Right‑click it, select “Restart”, then do the same for “Windows Audio Endpoint Builder”.
    4. After restarting both services, test your desk speakers again.

Try these steps in order on Windows 10/11:

    1. Check the correct speakers are selected
      • Select the Speakers icon on the taskbar (use Show hidden icons if needed).
      • Click the arrow next to the volume slider to see all audio devices.
      • Choose the desk speakers (or the device they are connected to, e.g. USB/HDMI/DAC).
    2. Check cables, power, and volume on the speakers
      • Make sure the speakers are plugged into power and turned on.
      • Verify the audio cable is firmly connected to the PC (usually the green 3.5mm jack) or USB/HDMI port.
      • Turn up the volume knob on the speakers.
      • If headphones are plugged in, unplug them and test again.
    3. Check Windows volume and mute settings
      • Right‑click the Speakers icon → Open Volume mixer (or Open Volume mixer / More mixer settings on Windows 11).
      • Make sure none of the sliders are at 0 or muted (no red circle or “x” icon).
    4. Make sure the speakers are enabled
      • Go to StartSettingsSystemSound.
      • Select the output device (your desk speakers) → Device properties (or More sound settingsPlayback tab → select device → Properties).
      • Ensure the device is not disabled and Use this device (enable) is selected.
    5. Set the speakers as default (if USB/HDMI)
      • Windows 10: Open Control PanelHardware and SoundSoundPlayback tab.
Right‑click your speakers → Set as Default DeviceOK.
      • Windows 11: StartSettingsSystemSound → under Output, click your speakers to set them as the default.

If there is still no sound after these checks, update Windows and audio drivers, and run the Playing Audio troubleshooter from SettingsSystemTroubleshootOther troubleshooters.
