On macOS, OneDrive often appears “open” but doesn’t show up properly due to sync issues, menu bar icon limits, or account linkage problems. The most reliable fix is to unlink and re‑link your OneDrive account, check macOS settings for menu bar icon limits, and ensure your storage quota isn’t exceeded
Please follow these Steps.
Unlink and Re‑link OneDrive
Click the OneDrive cloud icon in the menu bar.
Go to Help & Settings → Preferences → Account tab.
Select Unlink this Mac.
Sign back in to reconnect.
Check Menu Bar Icons
Open System Settings → Control Center.
Reduce the number of icons shown to free space for OneDrive.
Verify Storage
Log into your Microsoft account online.
Check if your OneDrive storage is full. Delete unnecessary files or upgrade your plan.
Update macOS and OneDrive
Ensure you’re running the latest macOS version.
Download the latest OneDrive client from Microsoft’s site.
