To Microsoft Customer Support,

I am writing to formally request the immediate cancellation of an unrecognised subscription and a full refund of the recent charge made to my credit card.

I recently noticed a charge from Microsoft on my credit card statement for a subscription that I did not authorise or intend to start. I have not received any communication—such as a welcome email, a receipt, or any notification regarding the start of a billing process or the booking itself.

Furthermore, when I attempt to locate this subscription and my Microsoft account, but I couldn’t. It was in my Apple subscriptions but I can’t find it in my Microsoft account.

I remember that I’ve subscribed because it was free and I’ve used it once, but I don’t use Microsoft any more and neither does my family.

Given the lack of notification and my inability to locate or utilize this subscription, I kindly request that you:

  1. Identify and immediately cancel the subscription associated with this charge.
  2. Process a full refund to the credit card used for the transaction.
  3. Please advise me what is the email address for this subscription

I can provide the transaction details from my bank statement (such as the exact date, amount, and any reference numbers) upon request to help you locate the charge.

Actually, I’ll attach them as a screenshot.

I expect a prompt resolution to this matter. Please confirm once the cancellation and refund have been processed.

Thank you for your immediate attention to this issue.

Sincerely,

Vladislav Veselinov Tsvetanov

Thank you. I’ve realised as soon as I’ve posted it. I’ve cancelled the subscription but it’s until next year March and I can’t use accordingly or get a refund as has started on 5 Thh of March.

Thanks for the follow-up. The "rules" for refunds are discussed in the article at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/how-to-get-a-refund-on-a-microsoft-subscription-67dca30b-b323-44d5-acc2-e02f9902c472 . Maybe you have already seen it.

If you, at one point, got a subscription via Apple, that is where you also need to cancel it. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/cancel-a-microsoft-365-subscription-46e2634c-c64b-4c65-94b9-2cc9c960e91b.
