Is this happening to anyone else at the moment? Trying to send emails and I tried to reset the app on my laptop and now does not want to open.

    Hi,

To isolate the issue, please try using a different internet connection. Then open an InPrivate window (Ctrl + Shift + N) in your browser and try logging in to your account using the link below:

    https://account.microsoft.com/

Can you send an email there?

Follow these steps to get new Outlook for Windows working again on the laptop:

    1. Restart new Outlook via Task Manager
      1. Right-click Start and select Task Manager.
      2. On the Processes tab, if Microsoft Outlook is listed, select it and choose End task.
      3. Confirm that Outlook is no longer listed, then close Task Manager.
      4. Open new Outlook for Windows again from the Start menu.
    2. If Outlook still will not open, reinstall new Outlook
      1. From the Start menu, locate new Outlook for Windows.
      2. Select the arrow to expand its options and choose Uninstall.
      3. After uninstall completes, open classic Outlook for Windows.
      4. Use the Try the new Outlook toggle in the top corner to download and reinstall the new Outlook app.
      5. Open new Outlook and follow the prompts to add the email account again if needed.

If classic Outlook also fails to open or shows errors, run Outlook.exe /resetnavpane from Windows key + R to reset the navigation pane, then try opening Outlook again.
