Hi,

The news web part suddenly stopped working in our SharePoint 2019 permise environment.
From developer tool, the error message is
HTTP500: SERVER ERROR - The server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request.
(Fetch)GET - https://intra.xxxxxxxx.ca/_api/sitepages/pages/feed?promotedstate=2&published=true&$skip=100&$top=50&$expand=CreatedBy,FirstPublishedRelativeTime&$select=Description,BannerImageUrl,AbsoluteUrl,FirstPublished,Title,FileName,Id,UniqueId,ListId

The ULS log error:
Exception Error while retrieving site pages Microsoft.SharePoint.SPException: Exception occurred. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80020009 (DISP_E_EXCEPTION)) ---> System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: Exception occurred. I did IIS reset on all front end server and it's not fixed.

What caused this error?

Thanks.

    @Jeff ,

    I want to confirm more information with you:

    1. Do other users occur the same issue when they browser to the news web part?
    2. Have you installed SharePoint CU recently?

    Clear the browser cache to compare the reuslt.

    Add a new news web part in the same page to check the result.

    In addition, we could also add the web part in different page to check if the issue still exists.
