All of my coworkers that use my templates are still missing their templates. When can we expect an update?

The My Templates issue is still under active investigation and there is no published completion date yet.

According to the current service incident for classic Outlook (MO1243496 / EX1238375), a recent service change to enforce stricter authentication requirements caused add-ins such as My Templates, Viva Insights, and Salesforce to disappear or fail with “Something went wrong.” The fix is in progress and partially deployed, and telemetry shows a reduction in add-in errors, but the rollout is not yet complete for all tenants.

For now, the only supported action is to wait for Microsoft to finish deploying the fix. Admins and users do not have a client-side or tenant-side workaround documented in the current guidance. Once deployment is complete, access to the My Templates add-in should be restored without further changes.

If the problem persists after the incident is reported as fully resolved in the service health dashboard, a support case with Microsoft 365 support will be required so they can validate whether the tenant is still affected.

    Dear Jerzy Holcomb

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum. I understand you and your coworkers are still missing the My Templates add-in/templates in Outlook, and you want to know when it will be fixed. I am happy to assist you.

    Please confirm:

    • Are you using a work/school Microsoft 365 account (your company email/tenant), or a personal Outlook.com account?
    • Which clients are impacted for your users: Outlook on the web, classic Outlook, new Outlook, or all of them?

Look forward to hearing from you. Have a lovely day!
