    Hi @Matthew Tepoorten

Thank you for your response. You are correct that Quick Parts is available in the Outlook desktop app for Windows, but it is not currently available in Outlook on the web. This is a current product limitation.

If having Quick Parts in the web experience would help your workflow, I recommend submitting feedback directly to Microsoft via the Feedback Portal to help prioritize this feature in future updates.

    Hi @Matthew Tepoorten

Thank you for reaching out. I understand how disruptive it can be when a feature you rely on does not appear as expected. Quick Parts is context sensitive and only becomes available when you are composing in a separate message window with the cursor placed inside the message body. If the message is being replied directly in the Reading Pane instead of opening the message in a separate window, or if the cursor is not actively positioned in the body of the email, the Insert tab will not display the Quick Parts option.

To make sure Quick Parts appears, please try the following steps:

    1. Open a new email or reply, then pop the message out into its own window.
    2. Type a short line to ensure the body is active.
    3. Select inside the message body.

    1. Select Insert, then in the Text group select Quick Parts.

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow the steps above and let me know if it works for you. If not, please share a screenshot of the full compose window showing the ribbon tabs so I can better understand and provide more targeted solutions.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Should you have any questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out so I can continue to support you. If you found the response useful, please consider marking it as accepted, as this may help other community members who are looking for similar guidance.

I look forward to continuing the conversation.

Quick Parts is only available in Classic Outlook for Windows. It is not supported in the new Outlook or Outlook on the web.

To use Quick Parts, ensure Classic Outlook is being used, then in a new email message:

    1. Open a new message window.
    2. Go to the Insert tab.
    3. In the Text group, select Quick Parts.

If Quick Parts is still not visible, verify that the app in use is “Classic Outlook” (desktop) and not “New Outlook”. Switch back to Classic Outlook to regain Quick Parts functionality.

Once Quick Parts is available, reusable content can be created and used as follows:

    • Create a Quick Part:
      1. Type and select the text in the message.
      2. Select Insert > Quick Parts > Save Selection to Quick Part Gallery.
    • Insert a Quick Part:
      1. Place the cursor where the text should go.
      2. Select Insert > Quick Parts, then choose the saved item.

For AutoText (a type of Quick Part):

    • Save selection as AutoText: Insert > Quick Parts > AutoText > Save Selection to AutoText Gallery.
    • Insert AutoText: Insert > Quick Parts > AutoText, then select the entry.
