    Hi @Rob Kovaly,

Thank you very much for reaching out regarding the issue where "Saleforce" and “My Templates” are missing in Classic Outlook. I truly appreciate your patience and the details you’ve shared.

I’d like to share that this is part of a known Microsoft service incident (Issue ID: EX1255397). This incident affects the loading of several add-ins, including My Templates, Viva Insights, and Salesforce, which can cause the View Templates button to disappear from the ribbon or not appear under All Apps. Microsoft has acknowledged the issue and is currently investigating it further.

While the investigation is ongoing, it isn’t possible to manually re‑enable the add‑in from the client side. If you are part of an organization, your IT admin can monitor the status directly through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Service Health, where Microsoft posts active updates about the incident. They can also open a support request with Microsoft if they would like to prioritize the case for your tenant.

For additional details and the latest updates, you can refer to Microsoft’s official article here:

The missing Salesforce and My Templates tabs are caused by a known Outlook add-ins issue, not by anything in the local Outlook profile.

Key points from the current incident:

    1. My Templates, Viva Insights, and Salesforce add-ins can disappear from the classic Outlook ribbon and from All Apps.
    2. Attempts to re-add them often fail with a generic "Something went wrong" error or they don’t appear in All apps > Add apps.
    3. Microsoft has confirmed this is a service-side problem related to stricter authentication changes for add-ins and is actively deploying a fix.

    What can be done now:

    1. If an admin is available, they can verify the My Templates add-in is enabled at the organization level via Exchange Online PowerShell (this does not fix the current service incident but confirms configuration):
      • Connect to Exchange Online PowerShell. See Connect to Exchange Online PowerShell.
      • Run:
             Start-Transcript -Path "C:\mytemplates\MySession.txt" -Append
             get-app -Identity a216ceed-7791-4635-a752-5a4ac0a5eb93
             Set-App -Identity a216ceed-7791-4635-a752-5a4ac0a5eb93 -OrganizationApp -Enabled $true
             get-app

      • Provide the transcript to support if a ticket is opened.
    2. If the ribbon itself is hidden (no tabs at all), restore it:
      • In Outlook, select the ellipsis (...) at the top-right to temporarily show the ribbon.
      • Then choose a visible state such as Show Tabs and Commands from Ribbon Display Options so the ribbon stays visible.
    3. If the add-ins are still missing after the service fix completes, open a support case so Microsoft can review tenant-specific logs and confirm remediation.

Because this is an active service incident, the add-ins should reappear automatically once the backend deployment completes; no local reinstall or profile reset is required.
