Hello,

I am currently preparing for the Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) certification and noticed that some topics in the official preparation materials are marked as “deprecated.”

Could you please clarify whether these deprecated sections are still included in the exam scope, or if they can be safely skipped as they will not appear in exam questions?

Specifically, I am referring to:

  • Develop Generative AI Apps in Azure (deprecated)
  • Develop Computer Vision solutions in Azure (deprecated)

I would appreciate your guidance on how to approach these topics during preparation.

Best regards,

Jovan

Yes, they are still part of the exam, check the study guide https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/resources/study-guides/ai-102

The AI-102 exam and certification will be retired at the end of June and replaced by AI-103
