every time I press the number, for example, number one, it brings me to the Microsoft support page. I have a sixty five percent keyboard layout.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Since this is a 65% layout keyboard, the number 1 key appears to be stuck in a function layer mode.

Have you tried pressing Fn + PgUp or Fn + PgDn to activate the number layer? You can also try pressing Fn + Esc to turn off the function layer mode on your keyboard.

If you are still having issues, share the exact model of your keyboard, I can look up the specific key combinations required to activate the number row properly.

The behavior suggests that keyboard settings or accessibility features are remapping number keys to shortcuts (for example, opening help/support pages) rather than typing digits.

Try these steps on Windows to restore normal number-key behavior:

    1. Check keyboard layout and language
      1. Select Start > Settings > Time & language > Region & language.
      2. Ensure the input language and keyboard layout match the intended layout.
      3. If needed, add the correct layout and remove any unintended ones, then test the number keys again.
    2. Check Ease of Access/Accessibility keyboard options
      1. Press Windows logo key + U to open Accessibility settings.
      2. Select Keyboard.
      3. Turn off (temporarily for testing) the following options if they are on:
        • Sticky keys
        • Toggle keys
        • Filter keys
      4. Test the number keys again.
    3. Test with the On-Screen Keyboard
      1. In the same Accessibility > Keyboard page, turn on On-screen keyboard.
      2. Use the on-screen number keys and confirm they type digits correctly. If they do, the issue is likely specific to the physical keyboard or its software.
    4. Check for special key modes (Fn/F Lock)
      • If the keyboard has Fn or F Lock, press F Lock once to toggle modes, or hold Fn and press the affected keys to see if behavior changes.
    5. Check for third‑party software
      • If any third‑party security or keyboard customization software is installed, temporarily disable or uninstall it and test again, as such software can intercept key presses and open web pages.

If the problem persists only on this physical keyboard and not with the on-screen keyboard or another external keyboard, it is likely a hardware or firmware issue with the 65% keyboard.
