Hi I have paid manually in February and then in March by direct debit for my Office 365. How can I get a refund for one of the payments?

This forum is just a user to user forum, no-one here has any account access, try using the steps they provide on this link to find out what that second payment was for.

Then use the steps they provide on this link to cancel whatever that second payment was for and get a refund.

If you are still unable to resolve that second payment problem, you will need to contact Microsoft Support directly, try using this method to contact their support.

    Go to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus

    Select Microsoft 365

    Click 'Get Home Support'.

In the box provided, type billing.

Press Enter, then on the next page, scroll down and click 'Sign in to Contact Support'.

Navigate to Microsoft 365 and Office - Manage my Subscription.

Select the 'Chat with support agent in web browser' option

To get a refund for one of the duplicate Microsoft 365 (Office 365) payments, first cancel or manage the subscription that was charged twice, then check refund eligibility and submit the request through the Microsoft account billing pages.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Go to the Services & subscriptions page for the Microsoft account used to buy Microsoft 365:
https://account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365 (or https://account.microsoft.com/services for other subscriptions).
    2. Sign in with the same Microsoft account that is associated with the Microsoft 365 subscription that was charged.
    3. Locate the Microsoft 365 subscription and select Manage.
    4. If there are two active Microsoft 365 subscriptions (for example, one started by the manual PayPal payment and another by direct debit), decide which one to keep and which to cancel.
    5. On the subscription to cancel, select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, depending on what is shown) and follow the on‑screen steps to complete cancellation.
    6. During the cancellation flow, check the refund information shown. Not all cancellations result in a refund, and eligibility depends on timing and country/region. Some countries (such as Canada, Israel, Korea, Turkey, and certain EU countries) may provide prorated refunds; see the linked refund policy in the flow for details.
    7. After cancellation, if a refund is available, it will either be offered automatically in the cancellation process or can be requested via the refund self‑help tool for Microsoft 365 subscriptions:
Use the Start button under “Get help refunding your Microsoft 365 subscription” on the refund article page.

If the subscription was purchased through a third party (for example, via Google Play or Apple App Store rather than directly from Microsoft), contact that store’s support to request the refund instead.

If the duplicate charges are not clearly visible or if the refund option does not appear, contact Microsoft Billing Support via the Contact Microsoft Support link in the article and choose a billing/payment category so an agent can review the duplicate payments on the account.
