HI Team,

I am facing an issue while trying to schedule an exam. When I enter my address and other required details and click on Next, I receive an unexpected error, and I am unable to proceed further.

I am trying to schedule the AZ-305: Microsoft Azure Architect Design exam.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue and help me schedule the exam?

Thank you for your support.

Kind regards,

Are you seeing ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK in the URL when you try and schedule the exam?

ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK is typically because your account has been blocked by Pearson Vue which normally happens because of multiple failed payments. You need to contact Pearson Vue support using the link on https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport to get the block lifted.

The "unexpected error" during exam scheduling is a known issue that can occur at the handoff to Pearson VUE.

Based on similar reported cases, there are two main actions to take:

    1. If the error text or code indicates ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK or the issue appears right after payment/discount selection, the Pearson VUE account is likely blocked (often due to multiple failed payments). In that case, contact Pearson VUE support using the link provided on the Microsoft Certification Support page so they can remove the block.
    2. If no specific Pearson VUE block message is shown, use Microsoft Certification Support so a moderator can review the certification profile and the Pearson VUE handoff for the AZ‑305 exam:
      • Go to Microsoft Certification Support: https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport (or the certification support/help link below).
      • Open a new support request describing the "unexpected error" when scheduling AZ‑305 and attach the screenshot.

If the goal is to use a free exam offer or discount, ensure that the discount is correctly applied and that the total due shows as $0.00 at checkout when the scheduling finally succeeds, as described in the free exam offer instructions.
