Log into your Microsoft account in a web browser.

Click the shield icon on the left, that will go to the security options on your account, or log into this link directly.

To open the Security basics page and review account activity:

    1. Open a web browser and go to the Microsoft account Security basics page: https://account.microsoft.com/security
    2. If prompted, sign in with the Microsoft account.
    3. On the Security basics page, select Review activity. This opens the Recent activity page, where sign-ins and unusual activity for the last 30 days can be reviewed.

If unusual or unfamiliar activity is found, expand the item and choose This wasn't me or Secure your account (depending on which section it appears in), then follow the prompts to protect the account.
