Dear Mitika Srivastava,
I understand you want to link a previous account to your current one and you’re asking for a support email address to send details. The previous AI given answer is correct, please kindly note that:
It is not allowed to link/merge/combine Microsoft personal accounts into one account. Accounts can be used side by side, but they can’t be merged. See: Combining Microsoft accounts - Microsoft Support
You also cannot add another Microsoft account as an alias on your current Microsoft account.
Meanwile please:
- If your goal is one inbox / one sign-in
- Use accounts side by side (sign into each separately as needed).
- If the “previous account” is not a Microsoft account mailbox (for example Gmail/work/school), you can add it to Outlook apps, but that is not the same as merging accounts.
- If your goal is to keep the same mailbox but change/attach another email name (alias) to the same Outlook.com account
- Outlook.com supports aliases that share the same inbox and account settings, but you cannot add an alias that is already associated with another Microsoft account, and you can’t add existing Outlook.com/Hotmail/Live/MSN addresses as aliases.
Thank you for understanding. I hope this helps clarify things for you.
